The Way We Are Project

As my senior year of high school is coming to a close, I've decided to launch a "goodbye" project that involves taking a portrait of every single Sturgis Charter School (East) female student! I hope to display the portraits at a gallery sometime in the spring & raise funds for battered women's shelters. The goal of the project is to promote the idea that we are all unique and beautiful in our own way and we should take care of who we are. No two pictures will ever look alike!  I hope to further the unity and compassion in our student body and encourage young artists to find a way to use their talents and gifts to relay a positive message.
